Custom glass windows can add beauty and value to a home, but when damaged, they can compromise both style and function. This was the case for a homeowner in Mineola who had custom glass panels in their living room that were cracked and foggy. Seeking a solution to restore both aesthetics and energy efficiency, they contacted Prestige Window Works for expert custom glass replacement.
After inspecting the damage, the team at Prestige Window Works determined that the custom glass panels needed a complete replacement due to cracks that weakened the glass and moisture buildup between the panes. To maintain the home’s unique design, the team recommended creating new custom glass tailored to fit the original window spaces.
The process began with carefully removing the damaged custom glass panels. Using specialized tools, the team ensured that the surrounding frames and interior woodwork remained intact, preserving the home’s original character while preparing for the installation of new glass.
Next, Prestige Window Works worked with a trusted supplier to fabricate high-quality custom glass that matched the homeowner’s design preferences. This glass was engineered to provide improved insulation and UV protection, enhancing both the look and energy efficiency of the windows.
Once the new custom glass was ready, the team meticulously installed each panel, ensuring a precise fit. They sealed the edges to prevent future moisture issues and checked that the installation was seamless. The homeowners in Mineola were thrilled to see their unique windows restored to their original beauty.
The new custom glass not only enhanced the home’s visual appeal but also improved energy efficiency, keeping the living space comfortable year-round. The project was completed swiftly, with Prestige Window Works ensuring top-notch quality from start to finish.
