516-908-8005Window Glass Replacement (IGU)
The replacement of shattered window glass, particularly Insulated Glass Units (IGU), is a complex task that demands specialized skills and meticulous attention to detail. In this specific case, we’ll illustrate a situation where glass replacement became necessary due to damage caused by impact, in this instance, a ball.
We initiated the process with the careful removal of the shattered glass in Bellmore, Long Island taking extra precautions to prevent shards from scattering and ensuring a clean and safe frame. Following this, precise measurements of the window opening were meticulously taken. These measurements were of utmost importance for crafting a new glass pane that would seamlessly fit.
With the new IGU pane ready for installation, we proceeded to expertly secure it within the window frame. This step required a high degree of precision and professional expertise to ensure a reliable and airtight fit. Our goal was to ensure that the new IGU seamlessly integrated into the window opening.
Post-installation, we diligently performed the necessary sealing to prevent moisture ingress and maintain indoor comfort. The completed replacement was subjected to a thorough inspection to guarantee that the new IGU was securely and safely mounted.
The Weather Shild window glass replacement process in Bellmore is one that we execute with the utmost care, prioritizing safety and quality.
