Window Mechanism Repair

A homeowner in Bayville was struggling with their windows, which had become difficult to open and close. Wanting to avoid a full window replacement, they decided to reach out to Prestige Window Works, a company known for their dependable Roto window mechanism repair services. The aim was to restore the windows’ smooth functionality.

During our inspection, we found that key internal components, such as the sash and balance system, had worn out over time. These parts are essential for the proper operation of the windows. We recommended a window mechanism repair to fix these issues and make the windows work like new again.

On the day of the repair, our Bayville team arrived equipped with the necessary tools and parts. We carefully disassembled the windows to access the faulty components. After thoroughly inspecting them, we replaced the worn-out springs, lubricated the tracks, and adjusted the balance system to ensure smooth, easy movement.

Once the repair was complete, the homeowner was thrilled with the improved operation of their windows. By fixing the window balance system, we not only made it easier to use but also ensured the windows would close tightly, reducing drafts and blocking out external noise.

After the job was finished, we cleaned the area and ensured everything was in top condition. We also provided the homeowner with simple maintenance tips to help keep their windows functioning well for years to come.

Great experience! They were extremely responsive and came out very quickly. I explained the urgency of getting my window replaced, and he showed up with his team and took care of everything right away. The job was completed before I even finished a work call! Fast, professional, and reliable. Highly recommended, and I would definitely call them again.

Had window sills replaced as well as the bottom of my slider replaced which had rotted away after forty years. The work was completed just before the nor’easter and they came through with flying colors! They look just like our other window sills which did not require replacement and our slider works like new and all for a fraction of the price to replace. Very pleased with the work done!

This service was outstanding! The technician who came into the house was highly skilled and polite. He took his shoes off before entering the house. He replaced the window with very minimal use of tools. There was no hammering. No mess. He sealed the new window very carefully. He dust-busted afterwards to make sure there was no dust or debris left. He and the tech on the outside of the house took time to clean the new window so there were no labels or smudges of any kind. Another service quoted me a price that was 20% higher and said that they would have to knock out the entire bay window. Prestige replaced only the section that needed new glass, which was very quick and painless. Took 30 mins for the whole process. I would give them 10 stars!
